Paying for tooling does not automatically resolve every ownership question. Purchase orders, tooling agreements, supplier terms, intellectual-property rights, storage rules, maintenance responsibilities, and local law can all affect control. Buyers and suppliers should document the arrangement before design and fabrication begin.
